Camper Groups (K – 6th grades)
Camp Turtle Rock maintains small group sizes to ensure the best individual attention for your child. Each group averages 7 campers to 1 staff / counselor ratio. All campers entering 1st grade and above are placed in groups based upon their gender, age and grade in school. Some of these groups (1st grade through 6th grade) may also be co-ed on certain days based on enrollment. Campers entering Kindergarten are placed in co-ed groups.
Camper Groups (7th – 8th grades)
Camp Turtle Rock offers a special program called our Campers In Leadership Program, or CILTs. This is a coed group for campers entering 7th and 8th grades next year. This is the Redwood group. They are campers that are leaders and role models for the younger campers. Along with experiencing the great activities each day, they are able to join a younger group 1 day each week to learn leadership skills while playing all the games and activities with them.
