Counselors and Specialists are carefully selected based upon experience, background, knowledge and their desire to work with children. Many of our counselors return each summer assuring that Camp Turtle Rock has dedicated staff working with your children. Our senior camp counselors, staff and instructors are college students or graduates that have come from Universities across the country. Prior to camp, all staff members participate in a comprehensive training program. Staff learn how to understand and implement camp procedures, guidelines and learn additional skills that are needed to lead the campers’ energies towards growth and development. Staff are supervised and supported throughout the summer by camp directors, supervisors and administrators.
